I was feeling hopeless with my dog Dallas. She had a bite/fight history, anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding, past traumas, and simply couldn’t be trusted around other dogs. I was at a place where I believed I may have to rehome her and felt broken at the idea. I simply wasn’t able to keep Dallas or my roommate's dog safe. I completed the 8 Session Ruff Around the Edges Program as well as 10 Full Day Training Bootcamp Days. Jenn helped me understand Dallas and build the confidence in both of us to move forward. Jen made such an appropriate recommendation of an anti-anxiety medication and helped me navigate through that. The connection and understanding that this training has given me is worth the world. I’m confident in being able to protect my dog, and that Dallascan now trust me to lead rather than having to protect herself. Dallas is more herself than I have ever seen before. Jenn provided me with the for both Dallasandme to weather through the ups and downs of training. She explained every piece of training, the purpose,and the result when implemented properly. Everything worked and when I would have questions Jenn was always just a text away (and still is). Dallas will now start transitioning into some group training classes -which I never thought would be possible, and I’m sure Dallas will continue to challenge herself and me in POSITIVE ways. You have truly changed our lives and I’ll be forever grateful for you!

Our sensitive, high drive border collie was attacking our other two dogs anytime they had food, toys or put their nose to the ground. Sensitive dogs cannot be mistreated or physically punished as it will only make things worse. Jennifer worked with our dog Mischa in a positive way and worked with us so we learned how to keep up her training. Mischa's resource guarding and unprovoked bullying of our other two dogs is in the past now. She is also more calm and secure because she received compassionate and science based training for her issues. We highly highly recommend Jennifer and Ark training for your dog training needs, especially with difficult or sensitive pups.

We were fortunate enough to start puppy class with Jen the day after we got our puppy, Sam. Our aim with this puppy is to have a well adjusted dog we can take anywhere. We are well on way to having that thanks to Jen. It was quickly evident that she knows SO MUCH about the different breeds and what works well, doesn't work well, challenges etc. Sam has a lot of confidence and energy which intimidated me a little when we first got him. Jen not only taught us how to work with his little Boston attitude, but made me much comfortable with him, too. We love that Jen holds her classes anywhere from parks, to inside stores, to parking lots. She showed us how we could take Sam anywhere (successfully) from early on. There is also no question she can't answer/ help us with from allergies to recall to grass eating. Jen has been our most trusted support as we emBARKed on our journey with Sam. She really is so amazing, patient and supportive with the dogs and pawrents alike. I honestly wish every dog could have the start in life that Jen gives them. Thank you Jen!

Jen is fantastic. She helped us as we worked to support “blending” our family of dogs. Jen’s approach not only supports learning for the dogs, it considers what is realistic for the family. We got our pup at a very emotional time in my life and quickly realized we were not equipped with the skills we needed. We researched puppy classes and came across Ark Training. I took Tucker to the first group class and realized quickly that the group setting wasn’t going to work for me. I spoke with Jen and she worked with our payment for the class to go towards at home training where I was more comfortable. She honestly wants to set you up for success. We know we have a long way to go but we are so thankful for Jen and all her support. I can text her at anytime and she is always there to help. We currently have Tucker in day camps and will start to join the free group sessions she offers to her past and existing clients. She does a great job with our boy. We know we are the ones who need to put in the work and she is willing to help us in anyway she can.

Jenn is a special lady…especially when it comes to dogs & their owners! She really does train us all! Natural & down to earth, unassuming while being professional. You can trust her, and like our dogs who aim to please us so does Jenn. She goes above and beyond, knows dog language and always gives more! She got the “dog knack”! Jenn is very malleable, flexible and can shape whatever you need…she seems quite unfazed by dogs who are reactive, in fact owners go to her because they trust that she will give that extra care and not just says it but does it!! She knows what she's doing. I love that her family are involved and her 3 dogs can be part of the training or play if its a fit. I got to know two of her dogs through one on one, group training and board/train. One of her dogs called Angel! That says it all. Love Jenn & love what she’s doing. Check out her new park setting in parkland county on her own property! Surely doesn’t get any better than that! Well, that is why my dog is booked in this Friday for a reset.

Highly recommend! Especially if you think nothing else will work, Ark Training is exactly what you need! She will work with you to handle all of the dog quirks. When we first had the pleasure of meeting Jenn, Oz had a whole plethora of insecurities. He reacted to every human, dog, weird noise, etc. Our household was pure chaos. Thru Jenn’s classes we have worked on confidence which has resulted in a calm Oz who’s ready to handle all the new situations the world has to offer. He’s no longer afraid but ready to adventure! Huge thanks to Jenn for teaching us all SO much this past year!

Jenn is absolutely amazing! I cannot express the gratitude and relief I felt throughout the training sessions. She is so patient and thorough. Our experience with Jenn and Ark training was excellent. We completed the ‘Ruff around the Edges’ course with our reactive 4 year old Morkie. Jenn was so patient with him and with us. She explained her process in detail and laid the groundwork for our next sessions. I was nervous and worried at the beginning that my little guy may not respond as she said he could. After only the second session, it quickly became apparent that Jenn was an amazing trainer. Her professionalism, patience, skill and her love of her job and dogs soon translated into noticeable behavior changes in us and our Morkie. His behaviors are now very manageable and we continue to feel supported and so much more confident moving forward. We are so grateful to have found her as she has changed our lives with our little dog. I would strongly recommend this program and Jenn to anyone.
